Backdated Dates

Gonna backdate bait further back because I didn't brought my camera out during these dates and took all the photos using my phone, which I subsequently forgot to upload. So here they are…

19/6/2014

3M Reflective Prints are JP's favorite. I gotta admit they look really cool under flash.

JP got a day off from work due as he wasn't feeling well. Waited until afternoon for him to feel better and we went to a cafe nearby his block for brunch.

GRUB at Bishan-Ang Mo Kio Park

Wanted to visit the Trick Eye Museum but it was fully booked until closing time so we took a walk instead. It's nice being on simple dates like these during busy times.

20/6/2014

As trainings for production were going to commence soon at that time, JP decided to take me out for a treat and brought me to Cathay Platinum Suites for a movie. Only 22 Jump Street was screening on that day so we went for it.

I was extremely happy and went a lil bit cray cray.

Even the restroom is pretty.

We chilled until it was close to the movie screening time so by the time we entered, it was already dark and we were quite embarrassed to on the lamp lights just for photos so we tried to take pictures in the dark.

Ok the pictures don't say much but it was really one of the most pampered experience you can ever have while watching a movie. Huge armchairs that slide out as low as you want, but still at a comfortable distance from the screen, huge comfy blanket that protects you from the cold, soft pillows you can lie on or hug, snacks and drinks on a table that can be slid from under the main table, turning it into breakfast in bed style. WHAT MORE CAN YOU ASK FOR?

I foresee more movies to be watched in Platinum Suites.

Little Things That Made Me Happy

Of course, don't take the tittle too literally. They are not that little, and they are not the only things that made me happy.

2/7/2014

Came home really late after training ready to spend some time watching shows before hitting the bed and was really happy when I heard my mum say she got me supper.

Dimsum was surprisingly really good for something from a food court. KOI and Twelve Cupcakes made my day even better.

23/7/2014

Accompanied JP to Marine Parade to check out a studio space for the crew and headed to ECP for dinner. We wanted to go to Macs but we went off the wrong direction and ended up at Lagoon. Found out recently that Macs and the entire area around it closed off, so it was a good thing we didn't go the right way then.

Tasked him to buy food for dinner. He originally came back with just this….

But…he told me the rest needed some time to prepare so they will bring the food to our table.

What I didn't expect, however, was this...

Really too much. Like literally. We were so full that we eventually took a cab home because we were about to go into food coma anytime. The food was still good despite years of not visiting Lagoon. I'm missing all these food so bad right now. Being on a "eat clean" diet really isn't as easy as it sounds. Gosh. Now I understand the joy of really being able to eat what you want.

Production training has been going well and I think it's going to get more intense during the last lap. Hopefully we'll be able to put up a good show for everyone.

If you don't already know, the "production" I keep mentioning refers to the upcoming dance production by SIM DreamWerkz, which I am a part of. The tickets for 22nd and 23rd August, Friday and Saturday night shows, are already SOLD OUT! WHOO!~

However, we still have tickets for 23rd August, Saturday afternoon matinee show. If you are interested to get tickets, visit https://www.facebook.com/events/786962684669688/ or contact me for more info.

Please do support us if you haven't got your tickets because I promise, we are all working really hard to make the show as amazing as it can be.
