Sissy's Sweet ol' Sixteen

I've been really hardworking & this is my 3rd post in a row tonight. But I know I'm gonna be lazy someday so I'll just schedule this post to now.

3 days before my Daddy's big day, it was Sissy's 16th. Yes, we have 3 November babies at home. November is a really joyous month for us.

On Saturday, went over to my cousin's house to celebrate my little girl's birthday in advance.
If you do notice, I'm wearing GD's "One Of A Kind" tee. Super loving it, & despite them not knowing my existence, I just feel closer to them this way. By them I mean Big Bang btw.

There was a lot of candid shots that day, but nope, I'm not gonna give any of you the glory of seeing our unglam faces. I hope nobody uploads them on FB though.

On Sunday we went out for a family dinner for Sissy's birthday cus I have work on the actual day.
& here's my almost-bare face. Had only tinted moisturizer & eyebrow powder on, but IG's filters makes everyone look good. :)

We had our dinner at Nex's Putien. It was really good. Even the fried stuff felt healthy because we had tea & some herbal soup that was so full of goodness.

That wasn't all the food we had for dinner, but these are all I've got because we were famished.

& if you realized, my family & I had 3 different cuisines for dinner on the 3 birthdays.
Western, Chinese & Japanese.
Hmmms, I should really try Korean cuisine someday.

Daddy's Day

2 days before the wedding, we were at Sakae Sushi for Daddy's birthday dinner. I had been craving for Jap cuisine for damn long & they finally decided on Jap cuisine that day.

Super love their chawanmushi, cus it had aplenty of shredded crabsticks & shark fin! Awesome <3 p="p">

My must-order dish whenever we visit Sakae. Fresh mangoes & salmon with fish roe!!! <3 p="p">
Cravings maximum satisfied.

& then there's Mochi. The one with ice cream was sooo good. Okay maybe I just really love Jap food. Hahas.

Happy Birthday Daddy! You are the best Daddy ever, and no matter what, you'll always be my beloved.

1 more Angbao

On the 2nd of December, I got to attend another wedding dinner. It was my dad's cousin and I was soooo happy for him because all the other cousins have already gotten married and he's like the last & every year during CNY we kept pestering him to get married.

So that day I was like the makeup artist for the family. Rushed back home after piano lesson & quickly did my makeup before doing my Sissy's & Mumsy's. Hehes. Feeling pretty proud of myself b/c they both look really good on that day. :)

My outfit for that night:

Really princessy, because my parents told me not nice to wear black to joyous occasion as some Chinese are really traditional & "pan tang".

The staircase was really pretty & suit the theme so well sissy & I can't resist taking our outfit shots there.

& like any other wedding banquet, the food was pretty good. Sinful, but good.

The Stars for the Night:

Camwhoring with sissy in the elevator because we love the camera like that. We practically camwhored everywhere.

Hahas sorry the photos are like everywhere cus I'm too lazy to organize them. It was really joyous because we got to meet with all our Malaysian relatives that we only get to see during CNY. & when we said goodbye to my shushu who got married, I suddenly remembered we have one more angbao during CNY. Hahas.

May your marriage be a blissful one & may I have another cousin :)

To end off, here's my makeup for that night.

Perks of being the Birthday Girl

I am currently obsessed with the Sephora goodies I received from Pris' Laopo as my birthday present. I opened up the lippie days ago and am really loving the color. It's some matte baby rose color which complements my "lazy" day look. For someone like me who don't include lipstick in my daily makeup routine, it's really good to make me want to use it every day now.

On the day of my birthday, I met up with Mumsy & Sissy after piano lessons & made our way down to town for some serious retail therapy. There was quite a fair bit of damage done.

Daddy met us at town right after we got Gong Cha. Forever21 was our first pit stop & from then on, the shopping continues until 10pm. Some changing room shots to document the shopping spree.

Right after we were done shopping we had a very hard time finding a place to dine at. We were all hungry omnivores by then and whining about being hungry for too long. Our legs were aching like mad & I just felt like ordering McDelivery while we head back home & pop some good dads for the night. Funshion would do as well.

But in the end we ended up at Swensens at Changi Airport (only place we could think of that is still open) for dinner.

Camwhoring amidst red light from some pretty xmas decorations along Orchard.

Dinner time finally arrived. Though it was well approaching midnight.

This black pepper seafood spaghetti was really good.

& the usual birthday complementary.

The shopping was awesome & I wouldn't have chosen any other way to spend my birthday. Okay maybe I would, but it'll definitely be something with my family still.

Forgot to upload my hauls so I'm just gonna rant my buys off as I can remember now. My damage was a pair of studded loafers, a knitted hoodie pullover, 2 tops, & one necklace. All sponsored by my parents except the hoodie because they sub as my birthday presents. :)

NOT FORGETTING I'm already being sponsored by my dearest Mumsy for everything I am doing to my hair. Had it colored with treatment and cut 2 days before my birthday with Bugis Essensuals. The day after my birthday I went down to Benz Hair Salon at Raffles Place with Mumsy & Sissy to get my hair rebonded. Yeah, perks of being the birthday girl.

The trip down to Essensuals was rather impromptu as they only offered the birthday promo on Mon-Thurs & that day was a Thursday. I wanted to get it done before my birthday so right after I met up with the boyf after school I dragged him to Bugis with me.

It was a grueling 2 plus hours for the boyf because his phone was on the verge of dying & there was nothing for him to do while waiting for me. Oops.

Had Bryan to do my hair for me that day as Wayne was fully booked. He suggested a darker color b/c my hair is completely screwed from too much chemical treatment & lighter colors can't last as long.

Hair was still pretty dried out but the treatment made my hair really soft :)

Had an awesome 19th this year! ^^

A huge thank you to those who wished me, especially those who camped until midnight. A massive thank you to those who spent my birthday with me, in advance & actual. Finally, I am most thankful I get to spent it with all my loved ones this year. Love all of them v v much because they gift me lovely presents, and the largest present of all, their time spent with me trying to make my day as awesome as possible.

I had a great one!
